What is included:
Accommodation in authentic rorbues with bed linen/towels/washing up, 2-course dinner every day, breakfast with packed lunch. Experienced guides on all trips.

Who is the trip suitable for:
We plan trips that will suit everyone, and that the fittest can go on several trips if desired. We go on trips regardless of the weather, but adapt to the conditions and wishes of the group. A normal trip will be approx. 3-4 hours, with the possibility of extension to 4-6 hours for those who wish. Any driving to the starting point is additional.

You will experience:
Fantastic beaches, lovely mountain walks, views that beat most, wonderful atmosphere, short-distance food from our own chef, new friends, and northern Norwegian coastal culture.

Program:

We start the weekend on Thursday with a trip for those who can make it, before we have dinner and inform about the days to come. On Friday, you get up for a wonderful breakfast, where you pack a packed lunch for a trip in the mountains with local guides. After the trip, an after-hike awaits at the jetty, and possibly a dip in the sea. In the evening, there will be dinner with short-traveled food and a good atmosphere with stories from the area. Saturday is another hiking day and after-hike/quiz and a good atmosphere. All meals are normally served by our eminent chef who uses today's ingredients to create the best delicacies.

Practical information:
 

Travel

Most arrive in Evenes on Thursday morning. We meet at the area where rental cars are collected.

We plan to travel with hiking gear so that we can take a shorter trip between the airport and the rorbuen. If necessary, we include a trip to the rorbuene, it depends on the weather/conditions. It will most likely be a short stop for you at Evenskjer to buy some food/drink for the car trip/first trip.

From the airport to Bø / Vesterålen rorbuer it is approx. 2 hours and 35 minutes driving. You arrange the flight and rental car on your own, if you do not have an agreement with us about this. We normally provide minibuses/cars where you can "rent" a place.

Accommodation

We live in cozy authentic rorbue from the 18th-19th century which have been upgraded to today's standard with kitchen/bathroom/wifi etc. Everyone gets their own beds including bed linen/towels. The rorbuen are best suited for 4-6 people. Note that there are no private bedrooms with a door between them, there are open loft solutions. See pictures of the tillers on our website.

There are fridges and freezers in all cabins, and good opportunities to cook your own food if desired.
 

Dining

Breakfast is normally served at 08:00 - 09:00, remember to pack a packed lunch.
Departure for the summit trip at approximately 09:30. Packed lunches are spread from breakfast.

Dinner at about 19:00. The bar closes at 23:30 on Thursday and Friday, so we stay open a little longer on Saturday :)
 

Tours

We try to go on the trips in a joint team, but split up if necessary. We will enjoy nature, the people and the social, and we strive to ensure that everyone has a good experience. We have several guides with us, so that it is possible to turn around/go on shorter trips if desired.
